About me

I am the wife of the most awesome man in the universe, and the mother of two incredible boys.  For the past eight years, I have been battling leukemia, Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (to be specific).  I am currently employed as a middle school substitute teacher.  I also have a budding knitting business, and I sell Mary Kay Cosmetics.  I live in Football World, being that both of my boys play all fall, and then my husband plays Semi-pro football in the spring/summer.  No break from the gridiron for me!  Good thing I like the sport!  I am trying to finish my teaching degree in Secondary Spanish Education, but it is slow going and slightly frustrating.

I started this blog to keep everyone up to date on my chemo treatment process, but I am finding that I can add whatever I want. I am horrible about updating regularly, but I’m hoping to change that! ;)
